Privacy Policy
Last updated: 5 November 2026
This policy explains how Malico Group Ltd uses personal information when you visit malico-group.com or contact us.
Who we are
Malico Group Ltd is the controller of personal information collected through this website. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 10760419, with our registered office at Suite G1, Hartsbourne House, Delta Gain, Carpenders Park, Watford WD19 5EF, United Kingdom.
For any question about this policy or your information, email [email protected].
What we collect and why
| Information | Why we use it | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| What you send us when you email us or use the enquiry form: name, business name, email address, your area of interest and your message | To answer your enquiry, send samples, quotations or specifications, and manage any resulting business relationship | Our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries; or steps you ask us to take before entering a contract |
| Technical data recorded when you visit: IP address, browser type, pages requested, date and time | To run, secure and troubleshoot the website | Our legitimate interest in operating a secure website |
The enquiry form does not store anything on this website. It prepares an email in your own email program, and nothing is sent until you send that email yourself.
Cookies
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not track you across other sites. WordPress may set strictly necessary cookies only for people who log in to manage the website. Our fonts are hosted on our own server, so loading the site sends no information to Google Fonts.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information. We share it only where needed:
- with our hosting provider, WP Engine, which stores and serves this website;
- with our email provider, which carries and stores the messages you send us;
- with other Malico Group companies (Malico GmbH, Germany, and Malico General Trading FZCO, UAE) when your enquiry concerns their area, such as energy and machinery supply;
- where the law requires it.
International transfers
Some of these recipients are outside the UK. Where we transfer personal information outside the UK, we use the safeguards UK data protection law requires, such as adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to deal with it and any business relationship that follows, and then for as long as the law requires for accounting and legal purposes. Website server logs are kept by our host for a short period for security.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your information, or ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or object to our use of it. Email [email protected] and we will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the chance to resolve your concern first.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
